“A Journey to Hell and Back” Suze Orman

I like to share survivor stories here. I think they help us remember how far we have come and what might be possible. So today I am brining you one more survivor in a growing list of celebrity survivors.

You may recognize Suze Orman, the American financial advisor, author, and podcast host. In 1987, she founded the Suze Orman Financial Group. Her work as a financial advisor gained notability with The Suze Orman Show, which ran on CNBC from 2002 to 2015. Now she can add Spinal Cord Tumor Survivor to her list of accomplishments.

Suze’s tumor was a 3.2 centimeter Schwannoma. It was located in the upper regions of her spinal cord between C3 and C6. Doctors were able to remove it in a 12 hour surgery. Like many of us, immediately following the surgery, she had trouble walking. She has been in physical therapy, and has been making good progress towards a full recovery.
